The mum of a woman found dead on the grounds of a church in England has spoken of her devastation.

Colette Law, from Greenock, was discovered in a tent after police were called to St Mary and St Nicholas Church, Lincolnshire, at around 9pm on Monday.

She said: "The last time I saw her face was the week before I went on holiday in April. Now, I am getting her back home in a box. The mum-of-three continued: "Her laugh was infectious - anyone will tell you that - and everyone laughed with her. She was the life and soul of the party."Knowing she is never going to walk through that door again, that I won't hear her voice again, has broken me.

Detective Inspector Richard Nethercott, who is leading the investigation, said: “We send our condolences to the family and friends of Colette, they are very much in our thoughts as we carry out our investigation.
