The boy has also been charged with driving without insurance or a licence.

A then 13-year-old Dublin schoolboy accused of leading gardai on a dangerous high-speed traffic pursuit has been granted bail with strict conditions.Five of the alleged incidents happened at Cheeverstown Road.

Judge Paul Kelly heard the teen made no reply when gardai charged him today and that the incidents were connected with an alleged chase. He also has charges for unlawfully getting into a car without the permission of its owner at a residential address in Tallaght in May and two incidents of criminal damage to a bell and USB charger ports on two buses in October last year and in February 2023.There was no objection to bail with conditions: a 10pm curfew and an order that the teen must not be in any motor vehicle unless with a responsible, qualified, insured adult.
