Recently, it was said that a man high on methamphetamines crashed into three parked vehicles when trying to escape the police. Is there any truth to this?Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid confirmed this, saying that the incident occured at 7.25pm on Tuesday .
"Our motorcycle patrol units were making their rounds when the spotted a man behaving suspisciously in a pickup truck along Jalan 19/1," he said. "They attempted to stop the vehicle but it sped off and rammed into three parked vehicles near Plaza 33 here," added ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin in a statement on Wednesday ."A 43-year-old man was arrested following the incident and a urine test came back positive for methamphetamines. The suspect has been remanded for four days," he said urging the public to cooperate with the police and refrain from breaking the law.
