Withhold more in taxes, get more back. Some people play this game. Many people claim zero dependents to get more back. Paychecks are bigger because less taxes are taken out now. My plan is not to get a big refund. For the average worker, you pay less in federal taxes.

It wouldn't be that hard, with today's technology, to setup an account that automatically drafts a certain amount every payday into an account that you can totally drain every year in April. You don't need to lend your money to the federal government at 0% interest.
