Defence lawyer seeks medical review in Kamal Adli assault case

Malaysian actor Kamal Adli was assaulted by a man with a baton in March after a Hari Raya sale event in Singapore.

The man’s lawyer, Wee Hong Shern, said he had requested another assessment on his client and was awaiting clarification. The court had ordered the man to be remanded for three weeks to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at the Singapore Institute of Mental Health.
