South Australia has secured the 2024 Super Netball League grand final hosting rights, two days before the Adelaide Thunderbirds take on the NSW Swifts in the decider.

After missing out on hosting the upcoming Super Netball League grand final, Adelaide has secured next year's deciderThat will allow for the redevelopment of the Netball SA Stadium at Mile End

That will allow the government to immediately begin work developing a plan to rejuvenate the Netball SA Stadium at Mile End. Netball Australia CEO Kelly Ryan said netball was "incredibly strong" in SA, but the agreement would consolidate that. "The state will be cheering on the Thunderbirds on Saturday night for a grand final that'll be in Melbourne," he said.

Mr Malinauskas said an $18 million investment, allocated in the SA budget, would guarantee netball would be made "sustainable in the long run". "It sets us up to be able to address the long-term issue, which is having more high-quality indoor courts at Mile End."
