They've been handed their punishments

From domestic abusers to parents who took the law into their own hands, the courts have remained busy dishing out justice. In one sickening case, a man was caught carrying out a sex act while holding a baby seagull. Another case saw a pregnant woman in Blackpool say she would rip a police officer's beard off, when he was called to a disturbance at her home.

Preston Crown Court heard that on April 6 this year, Aldworth approached his victim who was parked on Rawlinson Street in the Cumbria town. After asking for directions, he struck the victim on the head and neck causing him to fall to the floor. In a video, shown to the court, the woman could be seen cowering while Holding shouted and swore and demanded she looked at the camera.

His defence barrister, Chris Hudson, said the defendant has ADHD and has been abusing cannabis since his early teens. He said Davies committed the offence at a time when he wasn't working and could not afford to fund his habit. Bradley Moore punched the woman repeatedly in the face and tipped the double buggy over with the tots onboard, in an attack on December 23, 2021. Preston Crown Court heard Moore and the woman had been in a relationship for six years before the incident.
