The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) has condemned the hazing incident involving a minor in Quezon City and has mobilized its own personnel to conduct a probe. | ManilaBulletin

“Violent acts, especially those that trample upon the dignity of minors, despite the presence of the Anti-Hazing Law and the Anti-Child Abuse Law, should be condemned," the CHR stressed in a statement.

It said the minor passed out due to unbearable pain and physical injuries, and was eventually hospitalized. Invoking fraternity rules, he was allegedly taken to San Roque in Barangay Pagasa in Quezon City for "discipline" and was transferred to a shop along Road 10, where his former brothers conducted the hazing.
