Tennis power couple Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur are both set to play at Wimbledon this summer. Ahead of appearing on the court, Katie has opened up about their three-year relationship and how it all started with a coffee date.
No stranger to competing at the same sporting event, her boyfriend, Alex, 24 an Australian tennis player from Sydney progressed to the last 16 at Wimbledon in 2022. He went on to make the final at Queen's before losing to Spain's Carlos Alcaraz. "On the tennis tour, you see a lot of people but you don’t necessarily know them," she told Tatler magazine after featuring on their front cover ahead of Wimbledon. She went on to share that Alex asked her out for a coffee to which she jokingly said: "And that was the end for me".
The French Open and Wimbledon allow the stars to have "a couple of months together". Crediting their relationship Katie said: "We’re on the same wavelength when it comes to our priorities.While they tend to keep their social media accounts focused on their tennis careers they have occasionally shared some sweet snaps together. Earlier this year Katie gushed over her boyfriend on Instagram when wishing him a happy birthday.
