” , perhaps the Tribune Editorial Board could write a similar editorial condemning the offensive behavior of various Republican members of Congress who have decided to sport new pins on their lapels in the shape of miniature AR-15 rifles and then post about it, or who have proudly posed for family holiday pictures with their kids and guns, including an AR-15-style rifle, which has been the killing machine of choice for mass shooters, and then share these images on social media.
David Greising wrote an excellent column Friday about the proposed Bears stadium . It was a very articulate statement of the obvious, or what should be obvious to the civic leaders in Arlington Heights.I’ve been watching the McCaskeys’ laughable posturing on the stadium deals all year. Yes, as Greising says, Arlington Heights leaders should wake up and realize that they are indeed in the driver’s seat. The McCaskeys have nowhere else to go.
