Police have charged a man with manslaughter in connection with a homicide in St. John’s last year.The victim, an 82-year-old woman, was pronounced dead by paramedics upon their arrival at a home on Mitchell Court just before midnight on March 16 of last year.
Police initially called the death suspicious but days later received confirmation from the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office that it was a homicide. Tobin is already serving a federal sentence at the Spring Hill institution in Nova Scotia for previous convictions involving drugs and guns.Recent Stories
