The family of missing German tourist Nick Frischke have called on the civil rights organisation Action Society to help search for him:

, Frischke was last seen on 14 February at a shop in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. He was dressed in blue denim shorts, a beige T-shirt and white takkies. His family reported him missing when they could not reach him on his cellphone.

Kaylynn Palm, Action Society spokesperson, says Action Society were approached to help with case oversight and private investigations. ‘We will do all we can to assist in this case. The family is in another country and is not getting frequent updates which worries them. We will keep a close eye on this matter, monitor it and utilise our resources.’for listings on used cars under R100 000.

Five men have been arrested since Frischke’s disappearance in February. Igshaan Fisher, Jason Abrahams, Vanroy Petersen, Carlo Guenantin and Melvin Guenantin were all charged with aggravated robbery after some of Frischke’s belongings were found in the possession. The group admitted to robbing him while he was hiking, and in March they appeared in the Wynberg Magistrates’ Court.
