In an earlier picture he doesn't look all bit up and now he does.

Condolences to the family of the fallen officer. Harsh sentences were created for this type of scenario. It is this things like this that often push other officers to ‘overreact’ when confronted.
'Appeared to have injuries on his face' um, lol... You know they would've rather beat him TO death... we won't be seeing any stories about him 'committing suicide' in his cell one day soon, will we?
