Man appears in court following death of 'gentle giant' David Read

Mr Read, 50, was found dead at a house in Leamington Road, Blackburn, shortly after 11:30am on Wednesday June 7. Emergency services were called to reports of a sudden death. A post mortem later revealed Mr Read died from multiple injuries.

He was known as the gentle giant and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.”
