Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto assured Pasiguenos that the rights and dignity of both labor and management sectors in the city will be upheld and protected through the newly formed Tripartite Industrial Peace Council .

Other officials from the labor, management, and government sectors also signed the IRR during the ceremony. It will become the “communication channel” of the stakeholders to ensure their respective needs are met, issues are addressed, and insights are heard.
"Ngayon po, ayaw natin lumagpas sa kapangyarihang binibigay sa atin ng batas. Kaya kung may nakita tayo within our jurisdiction na pwede tayo tumulong – pag may notice to strike ng maayos ang mga unyon, hinaaharangan, hinaharass, may physical violence – pumapasok po talaga kami pag ganoon ,” Sotto said.
