A 42-year-old man appeared in the Brits Magistrate’s Court on Monday for the alleged murder of his 67-year-old mother.A 42-year-old man who allegedly slit his 67-year-old mother's throat earlier this month appeared in the Brits Magistrate's Court in the North West on Monday on a murder charge.
"... the police entered the bedroom and found the deceased lying on top of the bed, facing upwards, with a slit throat. "Initial investigations led police to identify and trace the suspect [to] a back room in the same yard," Myburgh said.Further investigation revealed that the woman previously opened a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm against her son.
