Not in Kenya because tribalism is here to stay, should the president attempt to do such a thing! All MCAs,MPs,ministers,Governors and professionals from where the Sacked person comes from will start crying and say *Its only our community targeted' in this war,why not His tribesmen

Our president still acts like a military dictator irrespective of the dispensation we are in...

No body is against the chief judge' trial but when the president fails to follow due process and rule of law. Do you stone a person to dead because he murdered another person or you allowed the law to flow. Nigeria need a strong institution and not strong rulers

It's in Africa. Don't care.

This incidence reminded me of the appeal by this administration sometime ago, to be allowed to always jettison the constitution whenever they think anything is in National interest. Am afraid of their next level

Dear Editor, you are wrong based on your opinion. He, MBuhari did what was ethical in suspending the corrupt judge. How do you strengthen institutions when you have a crop of corrupt legislators & judges? He never sacked as claimed by u neither did he abuse the power of his office

Nice Piece

Dear Economist the autonomy of each arm of the government is very clear, when you 'forget' to declare your asset which is critical for a public servant the law will surely catch up as in his case. With the turn of events strengthening the institution is in process

Yeah right to do so. He was a corrupt justice. He didn’t just sack him was advised to by the NJC

Point of correction. It's a clear reminder of how dictatorship and total neglect to the constitution and rule of law has crept into the Nigerian political space.
