Grassroots Conservative leaders have dismissed Boris Johnson’s claims that he was “forced out” of Parliament by plotters and called on the party to move on from the “psychodrama” surrounding him joeduggan1 reports

I believe the vast majority of the parliamentary party … and the majority of the voluntary party is behind Rishi Sunak.
