If a different judge presides over the trial, all witnesses who have already given evidence may need to be recalled to clarify any unclear issues.
The incident occurred on Sunday night, and City Power, the utility company, believes that overloading caused the fire. The pumping of water has also been affected as a result. Joburg Water will provide guidance to residents regarding the situation. A contractor is set to begin with repairs, although the duration of the repairs remains uncertain.
