A senior Nasarawa State government official told Human Rights Watch that prior to the Kwatiri incident, there had been other unreported erroneous airstrikes in Nasarawa State, including one in November 2022 in the Adudu community of Obi LGA, which killed 10 people, including a nursing mother and her child.that it had opened an investigation into accidental airstrikes on civilians but has provided no further details.
