Malaysia wins battle to set aside Sulu heirs award

THE country has won the battle to set aside a Paris Arbitration Court’s purported award of US$14.94 billion to the self-claimed heirs of the defunct Sulu Sultanate, reported english daily The Star. The Paris Court of Appeal gave the decision in favour of Malaysia during its hearing in Paris on today. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
