Another senior royal source familiar with the workings of both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace, added that it is unlikely either the King or the Prince of Wales will wish to enter into a “running commentary” on Prince Harry’s case in the High Court. “They will keep a close eye on things to ensure nothing untrue is said about any of the working royals, but this is a private legal battle and not one the Palace has any involvement in.”
The source added: “As for the court case itself, I do not expect the Palace’s communications team to be too worried about having to respond, other than telling the media that this is a private matter between the Duke and the media.”
