He says evidence on this was brought by former Sunday Mirror journalists-turned-whistleblowers Graham Johnson and Dan Evans, and that this went"unchallenged" in court. David Sherborne says a number of journalists' names mentioned in Prince Harry's privacy case against MGN also featured in a 2015 hacking case against the publisher - often referred to in court as the"Gulati judgement".

"Their lawyer said look, I cut my opening short so I could cross-examine Prince Harry. Now I discover he's not here. The media benches inside the courtroom are packed out, and an overspill room is also full, with journalists glued to laptops and notepads. In fact, Mr Sherborne says, those 147 were"just a fraction" of 2,500 articles the royal identified as being published about him over the period.
