Oh that's great. Those of us who struggle to pay our mortgage but do can now pay an extra % to compensate those who don't.

Good man Pearse. Thank the heavens someone is protecting the unfortunate people of this country who have been treated like lepers, from Fine Gael and their vulture fund pals.

Should have been enacted yrsrs ago

PearseDoherty Well done Pearse

The Central Bank doesn’t appear to do anything but sit on their hands when it comes up this issue

campaignforleo basically Leo....up yours for not supporting the Irish people. The gravy train has hit a bump in the tracks but you are probably having a meeting with the banks to come up with another way to screw us. You are a disgrace.

Bank's should be asked to pay tax on their profits before they begin evicting people. 20 year's? Who gets a tax exemption for 20 year's!!!

The Dáil voted by 80 votes to 45 to pass the Bill – the government opposed the proposed legislation. They are all stars in FG and do what THE CORPORATIONS tell them to do, as always

Is that not a rule of the central bank anyway?
