A lot of changes came to the Justice League in the 2010s. Discover 15 of the greatest heroes and villains that earned a spot on DC’s iconic team.

The 2010s was a time of growth and change for many people, the Justice League included. Not only was the DC Universe timeline reset by the Flashpoint, but the premier superhero team expanded considerably. In addition to the standard Justice League, numerous similar teams debuted, such as Justice League Dark, Justice League United, the Justice League of China, and A.R.G.U.S’s Justice League of America.

14 Super-Man Kenan Kong was nothing like Superman and was a bully to everyone. But he was selected to be Super-Man for China’s own version of the Justice League in New Super-Man #1. With Superman’s powers, Kenan began to grow as a person, unlocking more of Clark’s powers and turning him into a true hero. He and his team stopped working for the government, but continue to operate as China’s Justice League.

11 Man-Bat Few, if any, fans would have ever thought that Man-Bat would ever be in the same sentence as the Justice League. But Kirk Langstrom was indeed a founding member of the second incarnation of the League’s mystical offshoot in Justice League Dark #1. Despite his terrifying appearance, Kirk wants to make the world a better place and got a chance to show how he could work with the League. He even became a reserve member of the standard League later on.

8 Lobo The Main Man was one of the League’s biggest nuisances, but Batman thought there was something more to Lobo. After Bruce freed Lobo from Amanda Waller’s control in Justice League vs. Suicide Squad, he offers the bounty hunter a spot on the new Justice League of America. While Lobo is a definite ‘out-there’ choice, he’s actually a good pick as his strength and god-level regeneration makes him a unique asset for the team.

5 Harley Quinn Harley might have started out her career as the sidekick of the Joker, but her path to redemption actually lead to her working with the Justice League. Superman #19 featured a double spread that saw her in the Hall of Justice sitting right next to Superman. While it was hard to say whether she was a member then, Harley officially made the big leagues when Jon Kent invited her to join his League in Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths.
