A bipartisan group of lawmakers sponsored a new law on telemarketing in New Jersey.signed a bipartisan law Monday that would require telemarketers to not only state their name and what they’re selling within 30 seconds of calling a potential customer in New Jersey but also the name of whom they’re representing and a phone number to reach them.
