Kho got into illegal gambling the year he married Kim Lim

SINGAPORE: Kho Bin Kai, the former son-in-law of local business tycoon Peter Lim, was sentenced to two years and 10 months in prison and fined $40,000 on Tuesday for operating an illegal gambling syndicate.

His daughter, Kim Lim, is a well-known socialite and entrepreneur who runs a successful fashion business.Kho fathered a son with Kim Lim, but the couple divorced four years later, in 2020, after Kho’s crimes came to light.
