blinkingabyss To the surprise of: literally no one.

The case is Unions NSW v New South Wales [2019] HCA 1 (29 January 2019)

What are the implications, if any, for other jurisdictions? Vic has limited donations

Unanimous decision by the High Court today. A victory for common sense, unions and working people.👍

politicsabc Excellent news. Once again shows the LNP are prepared to trample on our freedoms in pursuit of unfair political and financial advantage.

The High Court can only interpret our current Constitution which definitely needs changing regarding the $ size & purpose of donations made by individuals & corporations to political parties, The current system not only invites corruption, but also known to lead into corruption

It's crazy that it took the high court to work that one out.
