Why is state so interested in sexual affairs. It is simple. Non consent sex prison, when women is consented then sex can happen is not very tender activity. Law must determine what the consent for sex is. There are many marriages stemming from business - private action. ty

Everyone has their price.

Great description of Weinstein...guilty, unpopular, vile and undesirable

Did he say so during Cavanaugh?

Right. Cause desperate poor people ALWAYS get fair representation.

Thanks he is right. Weinstein deserves a rigorous defense whether he is a creep or not.

Just post a copy of the Constitution with the 6th Amendment highlighted

True but they wouldn’t do this for a Republican in the same situation....

Any lawyer who takes their role seriously would tell you the same - even career prosecutors

They should send that letter to yale law students who walked out of class during the Kavanaugh hearings

Correct me if I’m wrong Mimirocah1 PreetBharara Popehat but this is not something a professional criminal defense lawyer publicly stated in full-throated defense of his client It _is_ something a dabbling faculty member says to cover his rear with his “other employer” Ugh.

CNNSUCKS

You can’t properly defend someone who you believe to be guilty. You have to believe in their innocence. We all know he’s not innocent. He’s putting himself on that platform for an entirely different reason. Defense attorneys are extremely important, but here he’s defending evil.

He is right: he is defending the system of law that requires procedural integrity of proof, beyond which guilt can be determined. It’s a childish and foolish citizenry that finds intrigue in that!

ESPECIALLY WHEN THEIR FILTHY RICH...

...and for the Conservatives on this thread trying to dog liberals, put a sock in it already. There’s nothing wrong with having to reiterate how the law works to these students, especially when you see a vile person being Defended. Trump deserves representation too! 😈

Is there a foundation on which Japanese universities can discuss based on this story? I envy Harvard students.

Never again the sexy phrase 'Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir ?'

Against the essence of law and justice, I would feel...

If he wasn't a person of color the students would probably be asking him to step down.

Everyone deserves representation, but when they’re found guilty they shouldn’t get deals or get to buy their way out of it. The lawyers should also grow a conscience because what if one of those girls were your mother, sister wife, niece or daughter? Would it be okay then?

The idea is there’s lots of money in it. No big surprise there. I mean he is a lawyer.

Everyone deserves a defense.

Money tickles.

Especially if they are rich and can pay

Everybody deserves a vigorous defense. That also is part of our justice system

I bet that went over well with that understanding bunch.

Yes, it's called innocent until proven guilty. It's the foundation of America. Do you have s problem with that CNN?

Innocent until proven guilty, an ideal the left doesn't seem to care for

What kind of law students need this explained?

I agree. Everyone deserves representation.
