Port Adelaide has lashed out at a brewing company after it created a beer named Icebath Lager in reference to one of the football club's stars.

The Queensland-based Whitelabel Brewing has since apologised to the South Australian team and the 19-year-old star player for the beer.

A spokesperson for the brewer said the beer was a “bit of a tongue-in-cheek” because it was the “last straw” for the Kangaroos. "This is not lighthearted fun as you put it. The AFL and AFLPA have been informed,” the email read, ESPN reported.
