DISCOVERY BAY — Contra Costa County issued an all-clear after briefly activating its countywide community warning system for unspecified law-enforcement activity Sunday, authorities said.
A social-media post for the system alerted residents and followers at 4:43 p.m., asking them to shelter in place and avoid the area of Cabrillo Point west of Discovery Bay Boulevard. A follow-up post at 5:25 p.m. issued an all-clear, saying anyone nearby could safely resume public activity.
