Why set up tribunal when EC members have resigned, asks lawyerR Kengadharan says the former EC members may have a cause of action against the government for trying them even though they have vacated their office. Could it because the actions and/or omissions of those ex-EC members could well be 'criminal' in nature? Tribunal to make recommendations if there is any fraud etc, to determine culpability. They were told to leave as everyone knew how they delayed the results. Under oath, they will say what transpired and who instructed them to do what. Then charges may be laid. If that's the case Mr Kengadharan, shall we then tell the Pakatan Harapan Government to stop prosecuting najib and his goons and his thieves who have stolen billions of rakyat's money?
