Emergency crews raced to Lochend Park in the capital after reports of a pedestrian allegedly being struck by a car at around 8.15pm on Sunday, April 2.
A 21-year-old man was found injured at the scene and was blue-lighted to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment, where the extent of his injuries are not currently known. Detectives probing the alleged incident say a 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged hit and run incident in Edinburgh.
