I'm glad I don't serve in today's military. When I served we had men and then there were women. There were 2 genders not 46.

Every Trans can serve if he/she is willing to do it under his/ her biological gender. I’s fair. You can’t force female soldiers to accept a man in their tent just because he wishes to become or be a woman. Or vice versa. The Trans has to choose - living as a trans or as soldier.

Well, people with juvenile diabetes can’t serve because of the insulin requirement. Trans people require daily hormone therapy. I don’t see why this is a thing.

If you read the legislation, it only prohibits transgender individuals who have psychological issues. Just like every person who applies to join the military. If any person has any type of psychological issue, they are DQ'd. Which is makes sense.
The higher risk of suicide and other mental disorders like schizephrenia should have been enough to disqualify them from military service.

Dont ask dont tell was an excellent policy. Nobody should care about your personal life outside of work. The exception is HR for REASONABLE accomodations and verifying no conflict of interest with other jobs or public hobbies. The conflict of interest is a grey area though.
