PETALING JAYA: Lawyers have expressed doubts over whether family members of the victims of the Double Six air tragedy will be able to pursue legal action against those responsible for the incident.

Salim Bashir and Joshua Wu said that while the affected families may have a claim in negligence, they may not be able to pursue legal action due to restrictions contained in the Limitation Act 1953 and the Public Authorities Protection Act 1948 .
