Vigilante Officer, Activist Rescue Baby From Waste Dump - Latest News

LEADERSHIP Weekend gathered that Ihunwo, who is the chief security officer of Nkpolu-Oroworukwo community in Port Harcourt City local government area, had alerted Wiro at about 3:00am and both of them went to the waste dump to rescue the baby.

Speaking with newsmen, the vigilante officer said: “I discovered a new born baby who was less than six hours old. At the point of discovery, the baby was still wrapped with clothes and placenta. “I rescued the child and immediately called a female nurse for urgent medical attention to be given to the baby. Upon inspection by the nurse, the baby was discovered to be a female.
