The trial of the presiding pastor of the House on the Rock Refuge Church in Abuja, Uche Aigbe, on charges of alleged unlawful possession of a firearm, was stalled on Tuesday in Abuja due to the absence of his counsel in court. Aigbe caused a stir on Sunday, February 12, 2023, when he mounted the pulpit carrying an AK-47 rifle. His counsel, Uche Uzukwu, was not in court as he said he had other engagements before an Election Petition Tribunal, PRNigeria reports.
