New figures from the Central Bank show the price of insuring a motor was 5 per cent less in the first half of 2022 than in 2021

The price of insuring a motor has continued to fall, new figures show, costing 5 per cent less in the first half of 2022 than in 2021. New figures from the Central Bank of Ireland show that the average cost of a motor insurance policy was €578 – a drop of €135 compared to 2017 prices.
