There was also this case.
The news never said she was piloting the boat at the time of the crash. It said he was in full control of it. I live in the UK and watched this on the News at diner time.
Of course they're not. Women are not responsible for anything they do. It's always some man's fault. It's sad really. He assumed a woman could drive, and for that, he's convicted of negligent manslaughter.
UK is going off the deep end.
I don't understand. The woman was driving when the boat crashed. In what way is he responsible?
He fled the country BECAUSE he knew he would get a bullshit charge. She crashed it. They both went into the water and he's being punished for surviving.
So what you are saying is women arent adults in the UK so therefore are not responsible for their own mistakes like crashing a boat and killing herself in the process
Wait so she was driving when the crash happened? How in the hell does that make him a murderer?
So according to the article, the woman that died took control of the boat before it veered left into a submerged object which crashed the boat and threw her out subsequently killing herself. Why is the man being considered a criminal?
Did he drive the keel of the boat full belt into her skull? How does one kill with a speedboat?
Speedboat Killer ? like What ?
Moral of the story; In the UK, grown women can't make choices for themselves. Men must say no, protect them else take full responsibility for her errors. OK.... When did it become 1940? 'She'll take the soup, just incase she chokes on a chip and I get done for murder'
Are you going to provide evidence he had a gun or something on him to force her to crash the boat. It's very sexist of you to think the woman had no agency of her own to make the decision to drive. No must be the mans fault.
Uh... The woman crashed it. And she's an adult. and you're holding the man responsible? Incredible.
If he wasn’t in control, how is he to blame? Did he force her to drive it at knifepoint or what? This seems fishy.
From what I know, he wasnt in control of said boat. Doesnt that make it a suicide?
The system needs drastically overhauled. No way in a million years should this scumbag have 1, been able to initiate an appeal and 2, receive legal aid for same whilst on the run. What sort of justice system have we? One that most certainly does not stand for victims.
hanging is too good for them!!!
unrelated (sort of) - but this taking back control of our borders mullarkey......... How the hell did he get out of the country?
So wrong this man needs to come back to the UK to attend court and whatever circumstances follow.
Head start from the BBC news for him to run faster now🙈
Georgia on my mind,an’ aal..
Yes, make the news public so at least he can get a head start out of there.....
He’s leaving, on the midnight train
