JUST IN: Maker of abortion drug mifepristone asks Supreme Court to block part of a court decision that prevents pregnant people from obtaining the pill by mail.

WASHINGTON — A maker of abortion drug mifepristone on Friday asked the Supreme Court to block part of a court decision that prevents pregnant women from obtaining the pill by mail.

The administration would need to win the votes of at least five of the nine justices on the court, which last summer in a 5-4 ruling overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling that said women have a right to obtain an abortion. The 2016 changes, among other things, reduced the number of in-person visits that patients are required to make from three to one and allowed the pills to be prescribed to women at up to 10 weeks’ gestation instead of up to seven weeks.

You mean pregnant women .I thought abortion was a woman's rights issue .

And by pregnant people you mean...?

Do you all know how ridiculous you sound when you use terms like “pregnant people”? We literally cannot take you seriously anymore.

You mean pregnant women, right? 🤔🤔🤔

Pregnant people? So apparently abortion is no longer a woman’s right issue…. 😂😂🤦‍♂️

Pregnant 'people'. Way to conform NBC

So by saying “pregnant people” you’d agree that this isn’t a “women’s rights” issue?

What a Catch 22 Do they side with a massive corporation that can influence the vote with money, parties, trips, property deals and other financial benefits? Or do they side with the Christian fanatics who all want us to worship their version of White Jesus?

Republicans and their bought judges are a crime syndicate 🙌🏼

Mail in baby murder.

Luckily Big Pharma is smart and corrupt enough to bribe Thomas, Kavanaugh and Roberts

Women Need These Drugs

In the age of meth labs and the opioid crisis, making this drug illegal will only result in a copycat, unapproved, and possibly dangerous drug showing up on the streets. Where there is demand, there will always be someone willing to supply, legally or illegally.

UPDATE: Biden administration asks Supreme Court to block abortion pill ruling.

Their money there for the Domestic terrorist Democrats to make off of dead babies.

pregnant people isn’t a thing.

Supreme Court rejects bid to block major class-action settlement on student debt reliefThe Supreme Court rejected an effort by three colleges to halt a class-action settlement that’s set to cancel more than $6 billion of federal student loan debt owed by borrowers who say they were defrauded. Let me guess… one of them hangs out in the Garden of Evil Imagine not wanting people to receive settlements after they have been defrauded. So many people in this country are so callous and don’t care that others are hurting. This lack of community will undo this country. They were defrauded but by the schools

Supreme Court won't block $6B student debt relief settlementThe Supreme Court is allowing a roughly $6 billion legal settlement to go forward that will cancel student loans for hundreds of thousands of borrowers who say they were misled by their schools. The justices didn't comment in rejecting an emergency plea from Everglades College, Lincoln Educational Services Corp. and American National University. The schools had argued they were unfairly included on a list of more than 150 institutions, most of them for-profit, that were linked with alleged misconduct. The justices’ action comes as the high court is weighing what to do with the Biden administration’s plan to wipe away $400 billion in student debt held by more than 40 million people. FU GQP! Let that be a lesson! wow how will i feed my family now? SUPREME COURT JUSTICES ARE ABOVE THE LAW!

Supreme Court refuses to block $6 billion student loan settlementThe Supreme Court refused a request by a group of colleges to block a $6 billion settlement that will cancel the student loans of about 200,000 borrowers who claim to be defrauded by the schools. The court denied the application without comment or dissent. Good. For-profit 'colleges' are owned and run by crooks. Of course. Is anyone surprised that the Supreme Court ruled in this way over student loans? openlsr
