‘Disappointing, ‘disheartening’: Trans service members react to Supreme Court decision

NBCOUT You need all the facts...they can serve just not during their transition.

NBCOUT and Trump's base still promotes the idea that they just want the military to pay for sex reassignment surgery

NBCOUT A. The ban is idiotic, we all know that. B. The military is a waste of our money anyway. Its benefits should be given to people who work hard at home (teachers, nurses, etc) not people who wave their guns abroad.

NBCOUT And you can serve you just cant ask the government to pay for your transition.

NBCOUT Statistically it's an unnecessary risk for the military to be taking. I, for one, am happy the military is strategic about taking risk instead of catering to feelings; feelings that don't agree with reality.

NBCOUT The military is not the place to pay for surgeries and recovery time and hormone medication ( which you may not be able to take while actively fighting and the side affects of missing those meds would make you a liability)

NBCOUT You deserve nothing, serving is a privilege.

NBCOUT Tell me: If it is forbidden for transgender people to do military service, why is it permissible for a schizophrenic to serve as president?
