South Korea top court orders Google to disclose shared privacy data

SOUTH Korea’s top court ruled today that Google must disclose details of any personal information of South Korean nationals that it had shared with third parties, sending the case back to a lower court. The ruling comes in response to a 2014 lawsuit filed by a group of activists against the global tech giant and its local unit, Google Korea, demanding it disclose how their personal information was handled.
