That guy was ready to take action against those protesters and he did....he drove right into them

Is this the guy that killed someone in self defense? Why isn't that a reasonable defense? Shouldn't people defend themselves?

I’d urge the pardons board to give more weight to the precedent this would set. People are allowed to express their willingness to defend themselves & react accordingly when threatened by someone with a rifle
