Republican Senators will have to choose between their support for law enforcement and loyalty to former President Donald Trump, experts told Newsweek.

Schumer, a New York Democrat, announced on Tuesday plans to hold a vote on a resolution condemning Trump's"defund" call when thereconvenes next week, calling Trump's comment a"baseless, self-serving broadside against the men and women who keep our nation safe" in a letter sent to his colleagues.

What became of all of the wasted time and energy surrounding the J6 hearings? Nothing that actually helped the American people. Instead of having pissing contests, they should be working to solve the actual problems our country is facing.

Once again, Congress is using taxpayer time and $ to condemn Trump instead of using the time to create legislation to get us out of the messes they have created. Easy to say you didn't have time to get to it when you waste time on BS like this.
