I’m sure we can all agree…

There is a public tennis court at 23rd and N St, NW that one or more daycares use as a giant playpen. It’s unfair to players who would like to use the court, the kids rip down the nets, and

worse of all it is dangerous for kids who are frequently seen falling on the concrete while their “caregivers” sit on the shade on their phones. Parks and Rec have been alerted but this is a daily occurrence. Can’t tell what daycare they belong to or would report them – any other residents frustrated by this or have advice? Thank you!”

life’s unfair, OP’s caretaker should’ve taught them that as a kid. it’s a lot easier for adults to find other tennis courts than daycare to find enclosed outdoor space for kids to play. and, kids fall, it’s part of childhood. plus, it’s a public space, play tennis later.
