How much will pill testing cost? The Federal Government just found almost $7 million to fund a replica of the Endeavour to circumnavigate Australia. Surely this money would be better spent on securing the lives of our younger generation.
I’m sorry, why are the government and opposition listening to Vic Police on this matter? Surely they are there to govern and the police are there to police. Bring in pill testing now, it will be far better than zero tolerance which has clearly not worked.

Why is the government pro injecting rooms but anti pill testing? Both used for illicit drugs, both used to provide education and minimise harm. I'm completely anti illicit drugs, but am struggling to see the difference between the two scenarios.

The government needs to expand it’s thinking on this issue. Provide an avenue for registered private companies to set up pill testing facilities that can be accessed on a user-pays system. Being at arm’s length allows the government to maintain its tough anti-drugs stance.
