DA leaders condemn government's silence on Uganda's anti-gay bill

MIDRAND - Some leaders within the Democratic Alliance slammed the South African government for not condemning Uganda’s anti-homosexual law.

Speaking at the DA’s federal congress in Midrand on Saturday, the party’s openly gay leaders called on government to show solidarity with the gay community in Uganda and across the world. “We are weak generally in foreign policy. As a country, we take backstage or if we sit back and don’t actually voice our concerns, so I think we need to do more.

You think in SA, we accepted this just because the same s3x people can legally be together like in a marriage? Well, we did not. It was forced upon us, and we had no say in it.

When in Uganda respect their beliefs and if you don't then don't go there. Maybe they are right and you are wrong or maybe you are right and they are wrong.
