Don't think domestic violence and gangs really meet the intent of granting asylum. NPR has long ago become a podium for Democrat's talking points. They should change their name to NSR National Socialist Radio. A pathetic, one sided excuse for news and information.

America is going to the dogs and we don’t have time to put immigrants before our country st this time.

Men

Fix your own country

Fake.

with white men governing the claims for domestic violence won't be recognized. we don't recognize crimes against women in this country to be an issue.

Adios

Maybe we should send people from America to these countries to balance it out. Then the Americans could make these countries great again and they would want to stay.

Americans have no problem going to these countries to enjoy a vacation.... I bet if you tried to stay because you were abused and assaulted by your partner... they would send you back to America

America says no to helping abused women and children. We even try to build walls to keep them out. This is disgraceful.

Good job. Keep up the good work.

Why?

Her parents come here illegally..... to work .... they break the law... then she comes here too? How can you even trust that she was a victim of domestic abuse or is she taking advantage of our system like her parents did?

StephieGilley Victims of domestic abuse and gang violence are not entitled to asylum. They have to report that to the local police. It's not an international matter.

NATIONAL PROPAGANDA RADIO

wa wa wa....npr crap

Is assylum given for escaping gang violence and domestic violence?

There is always Canada, Spain, Cuba and other places to seek asylum.

Do those words on the Statue of Liberty mean anything anymore? Or are they just words that sound good, but have no substance? I think we should all look in the mirror and ask ourselves what kind of America we’re turning into, and are you part of the problem or the solution.

I DON'T feel anything for takers of this volume. Of course she's dragging brats, more BENEFITS No, I'm not that stupid. Not anymore. I had to join the army to have health insurance. Easy? NO. Spare the pity party. PARASITES not welcome.

We don't owe them anything. And, we have plenty of domestic & gang violence in the U.S. so how exactly are they seeking 'asylum' from it?

damn it's like instead of building a wall we should improve our system as a whole

Is she really an abuse d survivor? Taking everyone at face value? She's in Mexico. She's safe in Mexico. These people want BENEFITS for NOTHING. Taking & giving nothing back. I have to pay for health insurance. Don't you?

Shame on us. notmyamerica notmypresident EndTheShutdown

KatCapps How do they even sleep at night? So sad.

Racism has once again become the dominant mentality in America thanks to the encouragement of trump, his republican enablers, and the liberals who feed on the same hateful malice.

That’s a good thing! Most are bullshit claims

Domestic abuse was never grounds for asylum nor should it be

Good. How is domestic abuse a reason for seeking asylum? Most people just move to a new place in a different part of town.

We are not a shelter for all the sad cases of the world
