The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, on Friday,The appellate court, in a unanimous decision by a three-member panel of justices, led by Justice Mohammed Lawal, held that the appeal lodged by Adeleke to challenge his sacking by the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal was meritorious.
Reinstating Adeleke, the court also awarded a sum of N500,000 as a cost against the All Progressive Congress and its candidate in the July 16 2022 governorship election, Gboyega Oyetola.on Saturday, NAUS chairman in the state, Eruobami Ayobami, said “the verdict was in line with the will of Osun students.”
