Dems love government. I'd expect no less

They will get back pay if Congress approves it, which they will. So if they take unemployment they shouldn't get any back pay.

Then they'd have to pay it back when the received back pay. These Dems are completely illiterate of the law I swear.

You're CONGRESS. You can pass a bill and open the government ALL BY YOURSELVES. That's your job, it's supposed to be what you do. Not rocket science.

And of course conservatives will oppose this because they’re all for slavery and their fellow Americans starving.

Unemployment is for people who are unemployed. If they are working but their pay isn’t appropriated that isn’t the same as being unemployed. Plus they would have to pay the unemployment back once the shutdown ended. Unless the Democratic governors are asking for a deal on that.

Thank goodness I'm eligible here in GA! But these claims need to be expedited!

Open the damn govt and you won't have to ask for these exceptions!
